ERO - (Education Review Office) is an independent, external evaluation agency that undertakes reviews of schools and early childhood services throughout New Zealand.  ERO reviews schools and early childhood education services every three years on average, and publishes national reports on current education practice.

National Standards Reports
The Education Review Office has published two reports on National Standards, a good practice report and an update report.  Working with National Standards: Good Practice, uses information gathered during 2011 to come up with the best examples of good practice happening in schools with National Standards.  Working with the National Standards to Promote Students’ Progress and Achievement, is a report of evaluations over three years about schools’ implementation of the National Standards.
